In December 2015, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) released a new form T1135 “Foreign Income Verification Statement” incorporating a simplified reporting method for use by Canadian taxpayers who owned specified foreign property with a total cost of more than $100K but below $250K at any time in the taxation year.
