On June 29, 2010, SPORTfx International Corporation (“Sportfx”) filed an assignment in bankruptcy wherein Shimmerman Penn Title & Associates Inc. was appointed Trustee of the bankruptcy estate, subject to the affirmation of the creditors. The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy accepted the filing of the assignment on June 30, 2010.
Sportfx carried on the business of creating, manufacturing and distributing wholesale sports licensed products and other sports related products.

On May 31, 2010, WWL filed an assignment in bankruptcy wherein Shimmerman Penn Title & Associates Inc. was appointed Trustee of the bankruptcy estate, subject to the affirmation of the creditors. The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy accepted the filing of the assignment on June 1, 2010. The appointment of the Trustee was affirmed at the first meeting of creditors held on June 15, 2010.
Since 1947, WWL carried on the business of manufacturing and installing custom displays and exhibits. WWL operated from leased premises located at 81-B Maybrook Drive, Toronto, ON.

On April 26, 2010, NML filed an assignment in bankruptcy with the Official Receiver in Toronto. On April 27, 2010, a certificate of appointment was issued wherein Shimmerman Penn Title & Associates Inc. (“SPTA”) was named Trustee of the estate. SPTA's appointment was affirmed at the first meeting of creditors held on May 14, 2010.
NML formerly was in the business of providing masonry services to various specific construction and restoration projects throughout Ontario from premises owned by it at 2211 Queen Street East, Toronto. NML's operations ceased prior to its bankruptcy.

KC formerly carried on business as a designer and manufacturer of custom kitchens.

On June 22, 2009, Alcatraz filed an assignment in bankruptcy and Shimmerman Penn Title & Associates Inc. was named as Trustee, which appointment was affirmed at the first meeting of creditors held on July 13, 2009.
Alcatraz formerly operated a retail chain of skate and snow merchandise and clothing. On the date of bankruptcy, Alcatraz's operation was confined to its Oshawa location. The Trustee completed a liquidation of sale of Alcatraz's inventory.
FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON SUITES NIAGARA FALLS LTD (“FOUR POINTS”)
On January 15, 2009 pursuant to an Order of the Honourable Mr. Justice Campbell, SPTA was appointed Receiver of Four Points. On May 21, 2009, the Order was restated and amended, by the Honourable Madam Justice Pepall.
Prior to the receivership, Four Points operated two Ramada branded hotels located at 7389 and 7429 Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Receiver has commenced a marketing program to realize on the properties and in that regard has engaged Colliers International Hotels as its agent.

On March 20, 2009, the bankruptcy of 1659173 Ontario Inc. o/a The Cakery (the "Cakery") occured and Shimmerman Penn Title & Associates Inc. was named as Trustee of the estate.

Pursuant to an Order made on January 22, 2009 by the Superior Court of Justice, A+ Child Development (Canada) Ltd. has been granted an extension of 45 days in which to file their Proposal. The due date has been extended to March 8, 2009. A+ Child Development (Canada) Ltd. filed its proposal with the Superintendent of Bankruptcy on March 6, 2009. A creditors meeting was held on March 27, 2009 and the proposal as amended on March 13, 2009 was accepted by its creditors at that time and approved by the Court on April 23, 2009.
