We were pleased to host Michelle Arnold, PrimeGlobal's Chief Regional Officer of North America and the English speaking Caribbean, in Toronto recently. PrimeGlobal is one of the top five largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world, providing a wide range of tools and resources to help member firms furnish superior accounting, auditing, tax and management services to clients around the globe. Shimmerman Penn has been a member firm since 2007.
Michelle spends part of her time as CRO visiting member firms in the region and we were pleased to host her in Toronto. She met our stellar team and hosted an informative PrimeGlobal information session for the whole office. She spoke about what makes PrimeGlobal great is the resource- and knowledge-sharing among member firms. Michelle talked to the group about how to access that information-sharing, via PrimeGlobal's intranet as well as by attending conferences and events. As we mentioned in a recent newsletter, Elaine Pantel is a member of both the North America and World Boards of Directors of PrimeGlobal and has helped raise Shimmerman Penn's profile and awareness about the Canadian business environment within the organization.
